After-H developers are working hard! Our focus is now entirely devoted into optimizing and fixing bugs, since we want you to experience our game in the best and easiest way possible. This time, we worked mostly on PVE improvements and user experience enhancement.
Here are the details about this new patch, and it’s already available on your game launcher!
– MAJOR IMPROVEMENTS –
- TOOLTIP & SAFEGUARD
We implemented new tooltips for the calibration area to better guide users in the process. We also added safeguard to prevent wrong calibrations (back tracker not connected in fullbody for example)
- CONTROLLER CONFIGURATION – Play with 2 Vive controllers
We integrated a new controller configuration allowing you to play with 2 Vive controllers in hands. This mode is only available WITHOUT full body tracking, you don’t need trackers to play in this version. Available only with 2 Vive Controllers.
- CONTROLLER CONFIGURATION (rework)
We changed the config file to facilitate its use and add new configuration modes. We removed the True/False options to add a single parameter. You can now use:
– PPGun Rifles with 5 trackers
– PPGun Rifles with 1 tracker
– 1 Vive controller with 5 trackers
– 1 Vive controller with 1 tracker
– 2 Vive controllers
All the modes are available and can be played together. You can start a game with multiple configurations. Edit the config.ini file to change your configuration and restart the game.
– BUG FIXING –
- T1 Behavior improvements
According to players’ feedback and our observations, we have recalibrated the enemies’ behavior to stick at best to the feeling of being flooded by the mechanical swarm that is the Mechasm’s scourge.
- T1 fluidity improved during waves in local
Now Mechasms tend to rush at you without dodging, it means they’ll come close faster than before. Now, rather than acting individually, the swarm now thinks and moves all-together to achieve the same goal that is to wipe out your team. Get ready to be submerged !
- T2 behavior has been reworked from the ground
From now on, they increase their focus on players and apply “shoot and run” tactics way better.
- Teleporter tooltip fixed
The Teleporter and its tooltip is no longer visible in the end scene.
